I am a long-time knife collector and knife enthusiast. Growing up in Puerto Rico, I had limited resources and access to the custom knife market. I moved to Michigan in my late 20’s and became entrenched in the rewarding world of custom handmade knives. I started with outdoor bush-craft style knives and hunting blades. I hand filed and forged on a handmade charcoal firebrick forge. I craft with state of the art powder metalurgy steels, high carbon steel, and Damascus with a variety of handle materials. Exotic woods that I use for handles include mammoth ivory, walrus ivory, African blackwood, cocobolo, Koa wood, and many other exotic woods.
